Slot Machine Tips!
Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey about what you would like to read about on the blog. The number one comment that we received is that you all want to hear more about SLOTS...which casino has the loosest slots, what are the best types to play, etc. We have put together some tips that we use when playing machines that seem to work pretty well...can't believe we are revealing our secrets!
1. VGT, VGT, VGT, VGT. Get the hint? VGT machines are hands down the best machines to play at an Oklahoma casino...it is a shame they are not in Vegas. You know, the machines where the screen turns red when you get a bonus screen. In our opinion, all other machines are worthless. VGT's are Mr. Money Bags, Red Hot Ruby, Lucky Leprechaun, Star Spangled 7's to name a few. The denominations range from $0.25 to $25. The tips that follow below are applying to a VGT machine.
2. Play the bank of machines where you are hearing noise and bells going off on the machines....you want to play where other people are playing and winning. Since Oklahoma machines are set up on a bingo system, everybody's money pools together to pay the winners...you do not want to be on a bank of machines by yourself, your odds won't be as good.
3. Play a machine that has hit, do not play a slot that has been fed a ton of $$. Generally, there are a couple of machines on a row that are paying and continue to do so throughout the day...play those machines! I don't care if it just hit $1,000...play it. Usually, if it hits, it will continue to hit...not always, but it is a good rule of thumb to use.
4. If you sit down at a slot, put your money in, and it hasn't paid you ANYTHING within 10 hits...LEAVE IT! More times than not a hot machine will hit something (at least a cherry) or jackpot within the first few taps of the button.
5. DO NOT "marry" a machine, meaning you stay with that one machine all day and night long if it is not hitting. If you do this, look down the row...chances are the lady two machines down from you is winning left and right...that is no coincidence...it is your money going to her! Just because you put $$ into one machine, doesn't mean it can't come out of another...remember, they are all intertwined and connected together!
