Blackjack Basic Strategy
Blackjack is one of the most popular games of choice among gamblers, and rightly so because it is fast paced, easy, and has one of the lowest house-edge of any game. However, that house advantage increases significantly when the game is not played using basic strategy. When we play at Oklahoma casinos, the lack of basic strategy use is the number one thing we notice among blackjack players...we are shaking our finger!
Basic strategy is a MUST for blackjack players. Memorize it...you can even take a hard copy of it with you to the table. The pit boss will not mind. When we first learned to play blackjack at Vegas, we had that basic strategy card by our side on the table every second! Once you play with it for a while, it will become second nature and you will have it down pat. I promise there is no tool or secret more valuable than knowing basic strategy.
All too often people go on their "hunch" or "gut-feeling"....that doesn't work! Blackjack is a game of numbers and statistics, it doesn't care what your gut tells you. Gambling should be fun, but let's be honest, nobody gambles to lose. Using basic strategy and smart money-management will increase your odds significantly!
